Week03

我负责第三阶段的视觉艺术绘制,

When the protagonist enters a high stress level, the lighting in the room becomes unrealistic. A series of hallucinations will appear: chains, holes in the floor, weird photos, enlarged toys, insect, etc.

Week02

We decided to create 3 stages to distinguish the psychological state of workers

  1. The first stage is the ‘introduction” to guide the player on how to play this game.
  2. The second stage is to show the changes in this room under “pressure” from work.
  3. The third stage, which players’ actions from previous stages will cause, shows the illusion. What players do in the third stage is one main direction to influence the ending.

And I searched some references for 3 stages

Week01

The first week, I teamed up with 1 3D Computer Animation student, 2 Game Design students and 1 Animation Online student. And we discussed making a game about mental health of workers.

Centred around the critical importance of understanding stress and its impact on mental health, “Take a Break” introduces players to real-life stress scenarios through narrative-driven gameplay. The idea is to simulate stress-inducing situations and illusions that encourage players to recognise signs of stress and implement effective coping mechanisms.
